PROGRAM: Explain the four static levels of the Metaphysics of Quality,
their nature and their moral relationships
The above PROGRAM will be discussed on this mailing list throughout the
month of August. Can we please attempt to answer the following
questions:
* What is Pirsig refering to when he talks about inorganic, biological,
social and intellectual levels of value?
* Are these levels independent of each other?
* What are the moral relationships between the four levels?
As usual please note that this intented to be a moderated discussion on
this specific topic. It is not a general discussion of all Pirsig's
ideas.
