It's time to start talking about Chapter 1. We have a week. If you haven't
already, pull out your copy of *Lila* and make your way through the first
chapter. Read it to yourself. Take notes. Read it aloud, to your spouse, to
your kids, to your dog or cat. Do some research, some comparative reading.
Go on the Internet, to the library. Go out into nature or into the world.
Write your thoughts down. Edit them. Re-read the charter, the slow reading
references. Send your thoughts to the list. We're listening.
