My suggestion for this month is:

We know about the levels inorganic, biological, social, intellectual, BUT
let's take a closer look at moral codes. Pirsig argues that there are five
moral codes, not just two.

(a)Social Biological and (b)Social intellectual codes. What are they and
how they work? Mr. Pirsig formulates that there are more than these two
moral codes, say (a) and (b); that actually, there are FIVE (see chapter
24, p.351 Lila). These five codes are:
1) inorganic-chaotic, 2) biological-inorganic 3) social-biological 4)
intellectual-social 5)Dynamic-static.
Let's look into the codes and define what they are and how they work.
Please give examples, not just a lot of 'wordings'.
The reason I would like to discuss the codes is not because I understand
them, quite the opposite. I would like to have the LS help me understand
them.
I have been looking into these for a while. The codes at the lower level
are somewhat easier to understand. At this moment in time, I would say that
I am stuck around codes (3) and (4). I would look to reach the higher
levels, but feel that won't be possible without an understanding of the
lower moral codes.
On the levels (1) and (2), I see that the environment plays a big part in
the formulation of the codes. For example in level (1). Let's look at the
formation or creation of a Mineral. A diamond for example. Depending on the
'environmental conditions', the basic elements that went into the final
creation of that 'Diamond' will determine weather those elements will
converge to forma a Beautiful Crystal or just a Big Chuck of Coal. Better
yet, let's put a human being into the equation. Because of economic
reasons, men have tried to create Diamonds. We are all familiar with 'Cubic
Zirconia', we all know the results. A Diamond, a Chuck of Coal, a Cubic
Zirconia. I can see the same example with all the Minerals. Looking deeper
into mineral, one finds that at the 'core' each mineral follows a
particular Geometric Figure, depending on the way their atoms bond. It is
always the same for each particular Mineral. The only thing that varies is
other properties, such as color (to think of one).
Please don't go off the tangent and think that I am just a Diamond lover. I
am a Mineral lover and there is a big difference. I am just giving an
example.
