Johannes and squad

I didn't have time to comment on your great post yesterday, but I want to say thanks for writing it. If anyone didn't pay much attention I suggest you go back and read it again. It's really worth it.

You wrote:
>I hope my essay is not to narrative ( but isn't
>Pirsig narrative himself?) and still clear enough.
>Of course I'm ready for Clarification of my
>writings, if needed.

Don't underestimate the accuracy of narrative. Sometimes that's the only way we can get to the truth. People say Pirsig wrote narrative cos he wasn't an academic, but I think there's more to it than that. He had to _show_ us what quality was, he couldn't just tell us. Narrative was the best and most rational method for the job.

I thought you really captured the feeling of movement from static to Dynamic. It's not as if we move rigidly from one to the other in a way we can predict. There's intuition and the desire to be good and then from nowhere the metamorphosis happens. Your post was good. I hope you'll stay around.
