hi erin,
please excuse the lack of capitols - my cat 'tigi' is in my arms as i type!
this is not going to stop me typing with one hand though!
i do not fell cats have a classic sense of underlying form?
tigi seems to have on occasion!

anyway, the marbles. what can the classic say about the romantic?
a neuroscientist may feel there is going to be much to say if one cannot say
enough at this point?
analogy, simile, poetry, rhetoric can be more charming, and if you approach
the marble analogy from a classic perspective, (no pun intended -
perspicuous, marbles? geddit? huh!)
then you may constrict your thinking somewhat?
i am sure you know this and i apologise for sounding off!

all the best,
squonk, and tigi.
