Platt,
If you feel dynamic societies are best then would you like us all to be able
to enjoy the delights of living in New York - the most dynamic society on
Earth?
Is New York too dynamic for you?
Maybe you have not been there and do not wish to give an opinion without
first hand experience?
We discuss many things here without having enjoyed first hand experience of
them, so please do not allow that to prevent you from edifying us with your
thoughts upon the subject?
If first hand experience were a prerequisite for discussion there would be
allot less to say?

If by socialist society we mean a society dominated by intellectual patterns
then i feel the MOQ would agree?
A free market, as Horse wisely pointed out, is not dominated by any patterns;
and to this extent is could be extremely dangerous?
A capitalist society may be dominated by intellectual patterns, but i doubt
if there ever has been such a society? Just as i feel certain there has not
been an ideal socialist society before today?

Poor examples of socialist societies abound, as do poor examples of
capitalist societies.
The number and proliferation of Robber barons who have lined there own
pockets at the expense of individual lives, micro societies and planetary
resources is shocking - and Mr. Cheney is the latest in a long string of
them.

Balance, harmony and proportion, are some of the key notes of a good
structure, and they resonate a merry tune to the tempo of Dynamic quality.
I find your insistence for a dizzy capitalist waltz a little fast for my wish
for a mellow fox-trot.

All the best,
Squonk.
