Elliot:
I admit faliure is rampant. But because some small groups did it wrong does
that condemn the entire idea? There must be changes, that is for sure, but
nothing impossible (although improbable less each individual makes a solid
effort).

Also, this nation state would not be similar at all to the current states.
An anarchist america is doomed to failure, its simply too difficult for many
people to treat complete strangers with complete openness, fairness and
compassion. I've heard of some studies which i cannot produce as evidence
that a small group of say 200 to 300 people can behave in such a civil
manner (a manner in which the apparatus of currency is no longer needed for
imposition of fairness standards). Rather than have a million small
villages however, i think perhaps interconnected networks of people would
work (where no individual needs to deal with more than their 200 people, but
through assosiation are tied to the entire nation). This system would be
much more dynamic (the ultimate parallel circut of folks) and much more
intimately tied to intellectual values.

thats what i think anyway,
Elliot
