hi, ken:

your distinction between universal quality and sentient quality makes sense
to me. i have been aware of this for some time and captured this insight in
a poem which begins with the lines:

Born feeling the pulse of the universe.
Lost misguidedly searching for a pulse
                of its own.

in this poem i try to show how women are very closely tied to the pulse of
the universe because of our ability to create life.
it is only when we deviate from this pulse of creation that we become lost
trying to dance to Man-created rhythms. all of us, whether male or female,
can tune in to the beating pulse of the universe...only i believe for women
it is easier because of our biological makeup geared for the creation of
life.

if you would like to read the entire poem, it is in the url below.
