HAS ANYBODY ACTUALLY TAKEN LSD OR ANY HALLUCINOGEN?
HORSE>
>as far as I'm aware they are inorganic substances that work on the
brain
>in an inorganic/biological fashion, releasing various other
neuro-chemical
>combinations NOT an inorganic/intellectual combination or
>biological/intellectual combination.
A static description of a supremely mystical DQ experience!
>Why does a relatively simple substance (simple relative to something as
>complex as DNA) like LSD in such minute quantities (250 millionths of
>a gram) produce such profound experiences. Hmmm!
Because it was "discovered" as an antidote to the consumer society of it's
era.
(And there is nothing wrong with SIMPLICITY, by the way. )
(Complexity is the instinctive domain of intellectualism. )
Can you see the counterpoint between "LSD-money" and "LSD-drug"
If I pointed out the correspondance of the two LSD's in the context of a
dream
then you would have no problem accepting that one was the symbolic
counterpart
of the other.
Reality is symbolic and poetic. It is as Jungian as night-dream.
Now...make the leap....Daytime reality is JUST as symbolic!
That's why LSD has the effect it has!
And why it was "discovered"
HORSE>
>Web-spinning is an instinct which, like language ability, is partly
>hard-wired into the brain.
Why only partly?
Where is the rest of it then?
HORSE>
>Baby spiders "knowing" how to spin webs is analogous to baby humans
>"knowing" how to talk.
And neither is predominantly hard-wired-
they both come from a trancendent source.
DOES ANYONE HERE FIRMLY BELIEVE IN GOD EITHER?
