Hi Paul and Squad,
Paul:
>Cosmotheism is not " Politically Correct ", the way that Scientific
>Pantheism is, but, Cosmotheism, is very intellectually honest, in a way
>that, Scientific Pantheism, has not yet evolved towards, but it will,

I did an admittedly small amount of research on Cosmotheism. There isn't
that much on the net, but what references I did find all referred to someone
named Pierce. He is apparently the founder of a church here in the US by
that name and is also the author of "The Turner Diaries". This book was
supposedly among the favorites of Timothy McVey, whom you all may recall as
being one of the person's convicted of the Oklahoma City federal building
bombing attack - which killed several hundred people. Pierce is uniformly
described as an anti-Semitic neo-nazi. He leads what is known in this
country as a "hate group". A search of cosmotheism at Amazon turned up
absolutely nothing. Apparently, one can't even buy "The Turner Diaries"
there.
While I've been recently accused of having a closed mind <great big honest
grin & bowing and scraping where necessary>, I'm having a hard time
accepting your embrace of Cosmotheism. Since I know essentially nothing
about it and can't even order the book if I should want to, could you
explain something about it for those of us in the dark? Why do you feel it
will win out? What does it have in common with the MOQ? Why would a person
who espouses anti-Semitism be of high quality (assuming that's what you
meant, of course)?
Thanx,
Mary
