Why can't Quality just be subjective?

The MOQ is a set of rules. It says there are static levels and latches all
prompted by and groping toward something called Dynamic Quality. It says
everything that exists swims in a sea of this Dynamic Quality. Period. The
SOM is another set of rules. It says everything that exists can be divided
into subjects and objects. Period. Most likely, neither one is the Truth.

Suppose there's a God; the one true objective observer. The guy who sits
outside of Dynamic Quality. This is the person who came from somewhere we
can't imagine at all and invented the entire universe, including what Pirsig
calls Dynamic Quality. This guy has all the answers. He can tell you the
why and the how of everything. What a relief, you think. Finally here's
someone who can straighten out this mess. So, you go to this guy and you
ask him, "Is the Subject Object Metaphysics true?"
  He says, "Yes it is".
So then you ask, "Is the Metaphysics of Quality True?"
  He says, "Yes it is".

But you're getting pretty irritated. He's supposed to know everything.
He's supposed to know the Truth, and you've just asked him which of the two
competing metaphysics is the one True metaphysics, and all you get back is
this riddle! So you try again, " But both Metaphysics can't be true at the
same time! The Metaphysics of Quality disproves the Subject Object
Metaphysics! The Subject Object Metaphysics doesn't even acknowledge
Dynamic Quality! It isn't even logical! Pirsig showed us what a complete
mess is was in his book. He showed us how Quality with a capital Q is the
driving force in the universe! How can you say that both metaphysics are
true when one clearly contradicts the other? "

The guy from somewhere we can't even imagine, the one who knows the real
objective Truth, paused for a moment then said, "You're right, the SOM is
right, the MOQ is right. Everything is relative".

What's the moral of the story?
