dear kilian:
you ask the same question that was on my mind last night when i nearly
jumped out of my computer chair as i heard the bombing on Irag start on tv.
<Is the U.S.A. / British attack on Irag earlier this evening
morally sound?
i stopped myself from asking the question thinking it wouldn't be welcomed
in the forum and perhaps i did not want to deal with the morality issue
myself. but now that you ask...i do too!
is the bombing of Iraq a quality situation?
biologically, it is definitely not since it kills life. socially, for
western culture it is since the bombing is to preserve our own society and
way of living. would it be good intellectually since it preserves
clinton's presidency for a while longer? or because its goal is to prevent
further weapons of mass destruction?
what do you think?
