Hi Pete and Horse and all!

I got a good feeling reading about your symbiosis with your bikes. I feel that way about
my Amiga computers. I can use other systems, but only the Amiga makes me feel content.
I LIKE doing stuff with it.

I still plug up the old Radio Shack Color computer (my very first) once in a while, too.
I get out the book and type in some programs cause it's fun. R-U-N [Enter]

I noticed, when I used to write programs a lot, that there was a wierd parallel to my
other life. Any time I got really involved in a big computer project, there ended up
being another project that I got heavily involved in (and was the prime mover for) in my
community. I didn't see this 'til later, but it's uncanny.

I think it's related to that sitting and staring, tinkering and fixing, where you're
working on the machine, but what's really affected is yourself and your relationship with
the world.
