Thanks for an interesting post.
You addressed the contrast between the scientific world view and the MoQ to
some extent. I appreciate this, because the MoQ is what i am here for!
The issue of diversity - what ever the level of evolution - is interesting,
because it seems that diversity does not automatically lead to chaos. Coherent
diversity is, in my view, a significant aspect of the MoQ - it is evidence of
the goal of evolution as Dynamic Quality. (Lila.)
So, to dismiss diversity is to basically not think in terms of the MoQ, and
that is why i pointed out that there would appear to be no scientific law which
says that diversity must be maintained, while the MoQ, on aesthetic grounds,
does; On aesthetic grounds, because beauty may be fruitfully described as a
coherent patterned relationship with DQ. And the more patterns participating in
coherence, the more severe the coherence - the more evolved it is and
therefore closer to DQ.
