Static patterns are in permanent construction and deconstruction - this
comes from the intellect. I would, then, include a flux in the up-down
direction. That would allow the intellect to act on the static patterns (at
least the social).
An unnexpected phenomena occurs.. let's say, Copernicus(?) sees mountains
and lakes in the moon.
This phenomena didn't fit the cience (intellectual) patterns of the time..
the moon was supposed to be a perfect sphere. Some, (church-men) did not
admit/see(?) this contradiction - watching through the same (Inorganic)
lens, they pretended that they saw a perfect sphere! Copernicus(?) stood
alone (crazyness) and shocked.
Later, this stuckness was surpassed, and the change in the intellectual
patterns was drastic.
This change led to a change in the social patterns that was at least as
drastic.
