Marty,

Thanks for mentioning that the post comes across in a highly technical manner.
The most recent post on that thread (MF MOQ BBS/Community) steps back from
the technical perspective somewhat.. to approach what is causing so many
people to feel the need toward an evolution. The root cause of the problem.

Please let me know (on the forum or in private) if this doesn't swamp one
so much in technical content -- which was not the intention. :(

I thought I would post something on this thread, to say that people
like, fundamentally, I believe a low noise/Quality ratio (which is defined
by interests). This is MD's problem, I believe, but splintering it into
twenty different mailing lists will lose the connection between all the
current users perhaps. Thus something must unify the community..

To be quite blunt, I feel that coming up with a series of rules is like
patching up cracks, instead of getting to the root cause.
This is not to imply that there is no respect for the great discussions that
have occured in these two forums for the past several years. Some people
have remained on these lists for more than five years.

I believe any sort of changes should allow easy reference or importation
of ALL developed knowledge of the group.. and easy integration with the
web. (But not easily assimilated into spiders like Google)
