Hi Wim, Horse and all
(and welcome back, DMB. I knew you'd come back, sooner or later...)
I've lurked Dave's and Wim's Wiki pages, and had even the temptation to add a new discussion of my own. The chance it offers seem great, even if I share Wim's concerns about the costs of an on-line work. I did not try, but I think that it is possible to download on your PC the wiki pages you are interested to; and also work off-line on our favourite word processor and then cut&paste the text to the wiki page once you are on-line. It's not like working with e-mails, but maybe there's no need to keep yourself on-line for hours. Anyway.
In order to have good static latches, I think we have to select one out of two main options.
One is (following more or less my initial suggestion) is to make MF survive as self-moderated forum. The actual format can be refined (one only discussion at once or more? one only mail per day or more?.... ). The other one is to open wiki pages, or something like that as suggested by Keith, (is it possible to have them on the MOQ.org site, Horse? Not strictly necessary, although good) and leave MF die, or survive according to the latest suggestion of DMB.
Maybe it's because I'm new to Wiki technology, and all that is new seems more dynamic... but I'm really thinking it could be the right way.
Bye,
Marco
