Anders,

You may have missed it from a previous post, but I've explained noumenon
as being 'essence.' The thing that exists without any values. And
you're correct, it has been thrown out as a part of reality by most
philosophers, which I also point out. :)

My comparison of noumenon with DQ is mainly about objectivity, which the
noumenon would be, and which I think DQ is before we intellectualize
(subjectify). Note my rollercoaster reference.
