hello all

Being the originator of the "physics constant" suggestion I feel
called upon to answer your attack on the MOQ - even if your letter was
directed to Horse.
Your criticism of Pirsig wasn't very exact, it sounded more like an
argument against Darwinism, so my commentary will not be very
specific re. your assertions either.

my comments:

please do not think i am attacking MOQ. i am very impressed by it and i
am re reading lila in an effort to perhaps see if i have missed
something of value, which is very likely. i am merely attempting to
reconcile what pirsig sees as an evolutionary improvement via quality in
universe with what i have observed as a pick-and-choose individualistic
awareness of universe that exists merely because our awareness of it
exists.

i am not criticizing anyone and have only the utmost respect for pirsig
and his MOQ formulation. its a tremendous acheivement. because someone
does not agree with the idea, however, doesnt mean that all they do is
criticize. i am examining it in an effort to relationalize it into my
own observational views of universe. that examination may be somewhat
awkward compared to what you are used to, therefore have patience. i
find its very much like trying to dance with the earth...where does one
begin?

my writings are all nonsensical until you can let go of judgements of
right and wrong in your own mind, as the reader, which i admit is asking
quite alot. and yes, i do revert back to darwinian evolution quite a
bit as does pirsig himself. darwinism can be compared to the repeating
pattern that has been around so long that his ideas seem to be a
'permanment' part of human ideology, dont you think?
