Good question. I think a somewhat related question where I see a clearer
subjective / objective distinction is something like where people are afraid
to fly but not to drive regardless of the statistics of dieing in an airplane
vs a car. I think the media has a more power over the "subjective" statistics
because they report plane accidents more then car accidents.
