1. There are thousands of forums for you to participate in, most are called
philosophy departments at universities.
2. There are, errrr, let me see? How many MOQ forums? Errrrrrm?
3. And then you have the audacity to suggest those who privilege the MOQ
regard you as a heretic! Give me some space to breath man! I study in a phil
dept and i hear your voice all day long! The MOQ has only just got its start
and you and people like you are letting it down very badly.
4. Rorty is a professional philosopher. As such he is obligated to say
SOMETHING for most of his career Can you imagine a philosopher NOT saying
anything? Being obligated to write or speak does not guarantee the quality of
such activities.
5. You do not have the discipline to keep your mouth shut until you have
something of value to say. If you find you have nothing of value to say, then
there is no shame and great credit to saying nothing.
6. This forum is dominated by social patterns and you feel this acutely. If
you do not receive the patronising approval of your peers then you suffer. I
can see you are a gifted and intelligent individual - have belief in your
abilities and carve out your own path by being original? If you can't be
original - illuminate!
7. It is not your place to carve out anything without a good reason to do so.
You are not obliged to carve out social acceptance here. Leave that for the
two faced slippery nonsense of social intercourse within society where it is
useful. (Actually, i would suggest dropping it there also - present the same
face to all people at all times. I cannot do this yet, but i'm working on
it!)
8. You are needed in the forum for your insights into quality. Please
reconsider leaving? If it makes it easier for you to stay, i will leave on
your behalf? Please stay?

All the best,
Squonk.
