In the last few hours you have posted two messages and ignored the charter and
rules that have recently been posted.
Rule 4 states:
4) Members should reproduce only the relevant parts of any previous message to
which they are responding.
You have ignored this in both your posts - please do not do so in future.
Rule 8 states:
8) Members should refrain from swearing, using offensive language and personal
attacks on other members. Abuse, in any form, will not be tolerated.
You have ignored this in your second post with a personal attack on Mary. Do not
repeat this.
The Charter quite plainly states:
The MOQ_DISCUSS mailing list is an unmoderated mailing list.
Members should observe the Rules of the list in order that discussions can be
conducted in in a civilized and reasonably courteous manner. Members are
encouraged to become involved in dialogue and debate but are requested to
refrain from flaming and abusive behaviour of all kinds.
and again you have ignored the above.
If you intend to continue posting to MOQ_DISCUSS then stick to the rules and
observe the charter or don't post.
If you feel that you have a valid point to make about Cosmotheism and how it may
relate to the MOQ then please make it in a reasoned and courteous manner. This
forum is for the discussion of the MOQ but can quite reasonably incorporate other
material which members feel relates to the MOQ and enhances the position of the
MOQ in the thinking of other authors and philosophers. It is intended that we
examine a broad range of subjects.
Others:
If you are replying to posts please exercise restraint. Racist, sexist, credist (?)
etc. contributions and their authors will be dealt with by the Administrator and
appropriate action - including exclusion from the list - will be exercised where
necessary. Please do not descend to the levels of abuse employed by bigots.
And Finally:
There have been a few borderline cases of flaming and mild disrespect recently
but I feel these fall within the limits of reasonable discourse and as such have not
felt it necessary to post. However please read the rules and think about how they
relate to what you are writing or have written. They are there to encourage the use
of "netiquette" not to restrict the flow of discussion. Please do not abuse the
charter and rules of the list.
