If there are those who agree with the central thrust outlined here and
elaborated on in my postings,
then I hope they will allow me to be included in their discussions and I
invite them to discuss the
MoQ with these principles in mind. If the group as a whole think that this
is nonsense then I will
gladly develop my thoughts elsewhere - I'm not disposed to time-wasting. To
my mind the MoQ should
not be oppositional, (although Pirsig and his acolytes present it as such too
often and some on this
forum thrive on being bloody minded), it is a potentially exciting and
valuable contribution to
philosophy and the philosophy of science, which is holistic in nature and
which seeks to unify
seemingly disparate disciplines in a coherent way.

ROGER COMMENTS:

I have enjoyed your perspective immensely. Even if I disagreed with
everything you wrote, I would find your opinion more interesting than most
just because it is refreshing. But truth be told, I agree with you on many
topics.

Please stick around. I would like to work together to try to find common
agreements on the holistic integration of science and philosophy. I am sure
we will disagree on quite a few things, but if you keep an open mind, so will
I.

As for those that want to deny the mystical side to the MOQ, or the scientific
aspect, or the social and moral aspects, they must have read a different
version of Lila and skipped SODV all together. Like you, I am looking for a
holistic approach that unifies seemingly disparate disciplines in a coherent
way. And I plan on having fun and keeping it enjoyable.
