    Welcome to the group. My recommendation for your paper is a book by David
    Gelernter, "Machine Beauty, Elegance and the Heart of Technology."
    Gelernter is a computer scientist at Yale University. His book opened my
    eyes to value of design in nuts-and-bolts science and technology.
