Tend to agree that the topic has just gone on too long. I've said
everything I wanted to say. I didn't vote for this topic because I thought
the answer was obvious. I've mostly nodded along to other posts without
having much to add. Bodvar's posts have helped put the Indian vs European
values section in context for me and eased my concerns about it being
contradictory, and that's been the most useful thing I've learned this
month.

I did like John Doherty's description of freedom, so I'll repeat it.

(nb Don't think that nobody's reading your posts, just because nobody
responds John, and other newcomers who have joined in this month, stick
with it.)

David B, I suggest you go back and read all the posts from this month and
last. Read them slowly. Print them out if it helps. Sometimes I take a
pencil and summarize what the person has said at the end of each paragraph.
I find that helps a lot when trying to understand someone else's point of
view.
